My Story

My name is Felicia Sewap, and I am a proud Cree woman from James Smith Cree Nation, located on Treaty 6 Territory in Saskatchewan, Canada. I come from a long line of family members who have devoted their lives to caring for others. The spirit of helping runs deep in my roots, and it has shaped the way I walk through this world—with compassion, purpose, and a desire to give back.

After the world slowed down during the COVID-19 pandemic, I felt a deeper connection—to return to my community and help where I could while working at the Health Clinic located on the reserve. I realized that massage therapy was a different way I could help, not only my own community but those who may not have access to it. I graduated from Axiom Career College in June 2025, fully committed to creating a practice that offers healthy, holistic healing through therapeutic touch. After Graduation I recently registered with the National Practitioners of Canada (NHPC).

Through Thunderbird Woman Healing, I offer mobile massage therapy, trauma-informed care, and the sacred responsibility of looking after the body, mind, and spirit. The name Thunderbird Woman Healing comes from my indigenous spirit name "Sîpiko-pihesiw Iskwewwas" or "Blue Thunderbird Woman,"

My goal is to bring care where it is often missing, and to ensure that healing reaches the homes, hearts, and communities that need it most. I want to offer more than just massage—it’s about creating sacred space for the mind, body, and spirit to reconnect and restore. As a mobile massage therapy service, I bring healing directly to individuals, families, and communities who may not otherwise have access to it.

This is more than a business—it's a calling. A return to Indigenous ways of healing, grounded in respect, connection, and love.
